AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Location: Brussels, Belgium - Member: EBAA

The role of the Airport Operations Manager is defined around four pillars:

1. Represent, defend and promote the interests of business aviation at airport level, in particular through the establishment of a proactive approach that enables the association to maintaining a high-level awareness of the situation at community airports and beyond.
2. Promote the establishment of favourable socio-economic environment to business aviation operations at EU airports, in particular trough the establishment of a permanent dialogue between airport actors, authorities and business aviation operators, handlers and FBO’s.
3. Encourage the establishment of a favourable operational environment for business aviation in particular with regard to security checks and passenger access as well as with regards of the upcoming environmental legislation.
4. Promote a wider and deeper public understanding of the proven social and economic benefits of business aviation and the conditions which are needed to make these benefits deliverable.

Chief Operating Officer

The growth of Business Aviation, its prospects in the mid- to long-term, and the fast evolving air transport environment in Europe and beyond are all having a decisive impact on the workload of the Association and its Secretariat. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will manage the day to day operational business of the Association on his behalf, providing current expertise on the operation of Business Aircraft operated commercially, and ensuring the appropriate focus of the operational staff in delivering the Association’s declared objectives for the benefit of its members.

Manager, Safety Data and Performance Review

Location: Brussels, Belgium - Member: EBAA

The growth of Business Aviation, its prospects in the mid- to long-term, and the fast evolving air transport environment in Europe and beyond are all having a decisive impact on the workload of the Association and its Secretariat. Reporting directly to the Manager Safety, Rulemaking and Operations, the Manager, Safety Data and Performance Review is expected to help develop and enhance the safety activities of the Association, amongst other things by supporting and helping consolidate and, whenever appropriate, expanding the already important EBAA portfolio of safety-related activities and training needs.
