The history of EBAA

Our history

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) was founded in 1977 to represent and promote the interests of the business aviation community in Europe. Since its creation, the association has grown into the leading voice for business aviation operators, manufacturers, service providers and airports across the continent.

EBAA works to ensure that business aviation is recognised as an essential part of Europe’s transport system, supporting connectivity, economic development and innovation. Through engagement with European institutions, regulators and industry stakeholders, the association advocates for policies that enable safe, efficient and sustainable operations. Today, EBAA continues to unite the sector and provide a platform for collaboration, expertise and representation at the European level.
