The business aviation community has long been dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from aircraft, with a proven record of advances in carbon reduction, and that commitment will be on display during the 2018 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2018) with the announcement of a new initiative focused on raising awareness and adoption of available and emerging alternative jet fuel options.

SESAR Augmented Approaches to Land – 2

Building on the successful and award-winning SESAR Augmented Approaches to Land (AAL) project, a consortium of key aviation stakeholders (airports, airspace users, airframe manufacturers, avionics manufacturers and regulatory bodies) has come together to launch AAL2. It aims to demonstrate augmented approach and landing operations and will run from 2018 to 2020.

EGNOS obtain RNP APCH operational approval to LPV minima in Europe

The document provides a set of simple guidelines for aircraft operators within the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) area to facilitate their operational approval by their national authorities to perform Localizer Performance with Vertical guidance (LPV) operations. It has been prepared by European Satellite Services Provider S.A.S. (ESSP SAS) under its EGNOS Service Provision contract with the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA) and supported by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA).
