European business aviation association announces bolstered teams
Brussels, 1 March 2019. Europe’s leading business aviation association announced today new experts joining its advocacy, communication and event teams.
Athar Husain Khan, EBAA Secretary-General said; “We are thrilled to have new experts in their respective fields joining our ranks. They will be instrumental in our continuous strive for improvements, to best serve our members and communicate on their behalf the value of business aviation in Europe and beyond.”
Strengthening the Communications team, is Senior Manager, Communications Frederique Luca. Frederique brings over a dozen years’ knowledge and experience in public relations and communications to the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA). Most recently, she headed the Brussels office of UK-based communications agency Fourtold, helping a portfolio of high-profile clients navigate EU policy related challenges and opportunities, working closely with teams in London and Boston.
Commenting on her appointment, Frederique said; “I am honoured to take on this role at such an exciting and challenging time for aviation. I look forward to working with the team on issues affecting the sector at large and helping the EBAA ensure its messages are heard and understood”.
Reinforcing the Senior Management team, is new Chief Financial Officer, Shay Ben-Shaool. He will be supporting the efforts of Secretary-General, Athar Husain Khan, and Chief Operating Officer, Robert Baltus, in leading the EBAA. Shay joined the association back in November 2017 as Finance Manager. Prior to this, he served in finance and administration management positions with several multinationals, among others, the Association of European Airlines.
On the advocacy side, David Grivet, in his role as Manager, European Affairs becomes the point of contact for political affairs. He will represent and promote business aviation interests and engage with European institutions, Member States and the wider public affairs community on behalf of the EBAA.
Vanessa Rullier-Francaud, has been appointed Senior Manager, Air Traffic Management and special projects. She will focus on Single European Sky topics and tax issues as well as provide technical expertise on related EU-funded projects.
Joining the Events team is Conventions and Events Manager, Julie Legrain. Julie will be taking ownership over internal and external EBAA events such as our successful Safety Conference in Cologne, Annual AGM and Cabin Service Conference.
