Brussels, 30 March 2026. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has elected a new Board of Governors. Representing more than 500 members across Europe, EBAA comprises the whole business aviation sector at European level.
The election took place during the 2026 Annual Membership Conference, held on 19-20 March in Genval. Bringing together the Association’s members, the conference highlighted EBAA’s commitment be the unified voice of business aviation industry in Europe.
The new Board of Governors, comprising 12 members, will work closely with the Secretariat to advance the Association’s priorities and support the industry’s contribution across the current political landscape. Going forward, the Board of Governors will participate in the working process regarding advocacy strategies on ReFuelEU Aviation, the Energy Taxation Directive, and other key policy files.
The Board has been renewed with the re-election of six members and the appointment of one new member, Ward Bonduel, CEO of Luxaviation Belgium. Chaired by Juergen Wiese, the current Board includes the re-elected members Janine K. Iannarelli, Founder and President of Par Avion Ltd; Maxime Bouchard, Co-owner and Managing Director of Jetfly Aviation; Pascal Lhoest, Captain Global 6000 and Regulatory Affairs Executive at NetJets Europe; Paul Tiba, Managing Director of AIRLEC Ambulance; Marwan Khalek, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gama Aviation; and Mark Boumans, Vice President Aircraft at Shell Aircraft.
Furthermore, the election period is a valuable moment to recognise and thank those who have contributed to EBAA over the years. In this context, we extend our sincere appreciation to Bertrand D’yvoire, former Accountable Manager at Dassault Falcon Service, and David Van den Langenbergh, Chief Industry Affairs Officer at Luxaviation Group. Their commitment and dedication have played an important role in building the strength of the Association.
EBAA is an association by the industry, for the industry. The commitment, resilience and time invested by our members enable the Secretariat to effectively engage at European level and ensure that the voice of business aviation is heard across the policy landscape.
