Market Based Measures
Offsets are a financial instrument used to reduce the environmental impact of an individual, business or operation to mitigate the output of carbon dioxide. Offsetting should be purchased as a supplement to other environmental improvements, or as a short-term measure while improvements take hold. EBAA believes offsetting should not be considered as a license to pollute.
