11 September, 2019 (Brussels). The signatories call on the EU Institutions and Members States to take the necessary steps to implement the joint declaration adopted today, outlining their shared commitment to improving Europe’s airspace.

20 April 2021, Brussels. Today, the first-ever European Business Aviation SAF Summit concluded with a strategic plan for advancing the production, availability and use of sustainable aviation fuels in the region.

25 January, 2021 (Brussels). EBAA, along with members of Europe's leading aviation associations have today released an open letter addressed to the European Commission and Member States, supporting the upcoming U-space regulation while offering their assistance to jointly address those aspects needing further research and clarification.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has heavily impacted aviation and has caused a severe drop in traffic demand, it is also an opportunity to “build back better” a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable European Air Traffic Management, aligned with the political goals and ambition of the European Green Deal and a Europe that it fit for the digital age. The long awaited SES II + update proposal, published by the European Commission on 22 Sept, is therefore welcomed.

The European Commission is preparing the next European Research and Innovation Programme. In doing so, the Commission will set up partnerships (including the private sector as well as public entities) in several strategic industrial areas, including for air traffic management.
