Europe has been very busy in the past years to reform the way airspace is managed to build a more efficient system.

24 June 2020, Brussels. With the gradual restarting of passenger air transport in the coming weeks, leaders from over a dozen air transport associations representing Europe’s aviation sector today issued an urgent call for EU leaders to prioritise specific decarbonisation initiatives in their allocation of future COVID-19 recovery funding.

13 November, 2020 (Brussels). EBAA, along with members of Europe's leading aviation associations have today published a joint paper setting out the principles to support the safe integration into European airspace of unmanned aircraft, or 'drones'.

4 November 2019 (Brussels). The following response can be attributed to the European Business Aviation Association following the publication by The Guardian of a proposal to ban private jets from UK airports to encourage the development of electric alternatives.

26 September, 2019 (Vienna). The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), jointly with the Austrian Business Aviation Association (ABAA), has called on European and national legislative and regulatory authorities to engage in a constructive dialogue with the industry, to design inclusive and ambitious aviation policies for all airspace stakeholders.

12 April, 2019 (Bucharest). European business aviation calls for an inclusive European Aviation Framework to enable improved connectivity, efficiency, European competitiveness and regional cohesion across the continent.

8 April, 2019 (Brussels). Drones are the newcomers in the skies. 15 associations of airlines, aircrew, airports, air navigation service providers, controllers, general aviation join forces in mapping the areas of action that would pave the way to safe drone integration;

On the threshold of the holiday season, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes the joint statement by Violeta Bulc, EU Commissioner for Transport and Karima Delli, Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Transport and Tourism.

11 September, 2019 (Brussels). Today the European Business Aviation sector signed the joint declaration on the Future of the European Sky, renewing its commitment to the Single European Sky and improving the European airspace.

16 July, 2019 (Brussels). The European Business Aviation Association welcomes the updated rules on equipping aircraft with data link services for the Single European Sky, and specifically the exemption for most of the aircraft used by the business aviation sector.
