ClimbingFast.eu - Global business aviation advocacy now takes flight in Europe
ClimbingFast.eu has launched as the global expansion of NBAA’s advocacy campaign, led in Europe by EBAA. The platform highlights our manifesto and Oxford Economics data showing business aviation’s €120 billion FDI impact and 400,000 jobs. It provides fact-based narratives on sustainability, connectivity and humanitarian contributions.
Brussels, 27 August 2025. – The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) today announces the launch of ClimbingFast.eu, a new international platform of the Climbing Fast campaign aimed at promoting and defending the value of business aviation on a global scale.
Originally launched in 2023 by the U.S.-based NBAA (National Business Aviation Association), Climbing Fast is now expanding its reach with the support of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and national associations worldwide, including EBAA. The new platform allows each association to share stories, data, and resources that demonstrate business aviation’s positive contributions to society, the economy, and the environment.
Our data and our manifesto
EBAA’s participation in ClimbingFast.eu is grounded in evidence and transparency. Key findings from the Oxford Economics report, commissioned by GAMA and EBAA and published in January 2025, highlight:
-
Business aviation supports nearly 400.000 jobs across Europe.
-
It facilitates €120 billion in foreign direct investment, essential for European competitiveness.
-
Over 50% of missions serve business-critical or humanitarian purposes, far beyond perceptions of luxury travel.
These figures align with EBAA’s advocacy manifesto, which calls for:
-
Balanced regulation: Policies that meet climate objectives without undermining economic growth or regional connectivity.
-
Recognition of societal contributions: Including life-saving medical flights, disaster relief, and access to remote regions.
-
Partnership on sustainability: Business aviation is committed to SAF uptake, fleet modernisation and net-zero goals by 2050.
