The Hague, Netherlands. The Business Aviation industry in Europe is being represented by 10 dynamic, young professionals at the 2018 One Young World Summit, taking place 17-20 October in The Hague, Netherlands. The delegation is joining over 1,800 exceptional young leaders to debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for pressing issues such as sustainability, education and access to healthcare.

As part of Business Aviation’s commitment to be a progressive and proactive sector, the delegation is tasked with connecting with other industries, NGOs and young global leaders, to define innovative ways in which Business Aviation can contribute to solving societal challenges, beyond the important role it already plays to support, for example, medical flights and humanitarian missions, and its continued efforts towards improved sustainability.

By bringing young leaders in Business Aviation together with motivated professionals from other industries to exchange views, we stand an even better chance of remaining a forward-thinking, responsible industry

Athar Husain Khan, Secretary-General of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA).

The ten delegates were selected based on their constructive and encouraging views on the future of the industry. Selections were made by the EBAA, in partnership with the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA), the Swiss Business Aviation Association (SBAA), and EBAA France.

Our industry’s participation at this summit was inspired by the learnings of EBAA and ThinkYoung’s 2018 Millennial report, in which we stated Business Aviation’s desire to continue engaging with Millennials and Gen Z. They are crucial to help us build a sustainable, viable and responsible air transport industry for future generations

Robert Baltus, EBAA Chief Operations Officer
