EASA organises Ramp-Up Safety Week

As the aviation industry prepares itself for the summer season, the safety of operations relies on resilient management systems and the whole aviation community working together.

In order to prepare for the season, EASA has partnered up with organisations from across the aviation community to develop the COVID-19 Ramp-up Campaign to help align basic actions and principles to mitigate the risks.

As part of the “COVID-19 Ramp-Up – Be Ready, Stay Safe”  campaign, EASA will host a Safety Week 21-24 June 2021. Throughout this week, EASA will host a series of general and domain-specific sessions for the industry and authorities to discuss the most important safety issues faced by the industry during the Ramp-Up.

The focus of the domain sessions will be on “effective safety management” as well as “skills and knowledge degradation” during COVID times. We would like to bring to your attention the dedicated session on 23 June 2021, 14:00 – 15:30 h, related to Managing Safety and Competence in Operations.
