The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) respects the decision by European authorities to temporarily restrict non-essential travel, but calls on the European Commission, the Member States and Switzerland to consider all recovery and relief measures available to ensure business continuity for operators, airports and others in the business aviation industry.

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the Swiss Business Aviation Association (SBAA) today announced that they will postpone the Swiss Business aviation day given health concerns in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.

By the end of 2019, over 1 million passengers will have boarded a business aircraft in Europe, and many factors will have driven this demand, from business and medical, to governmental needs for point-to-point transportation.

By bringing together the best specialists in an area, our working groups examine key issues, make valuable connections, share best practices and suggest improved approaches to build and enhance their specialist areas for the benefit of the whole Business aviation sector.

Kick-starting a campaign to encourage STEM within technical schools and amongst students, Europe’s business aviation industry - led by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) together with the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) - is today calling on government and the private sector to come together and create skills centres to address workforce challenges and gender balance in aviation.

Two of Europe’s largest operators, AvconJet and Jet Story recently joined EBAA strengthening the association’s membership with their voices and expertise.

The Board of Governors of the European Business Aviation Association are pleased to announce that we have appointed long-standing aviation professional Athar Husain Khan as Secretary General. He will assume responsibilities for leading the Association Secretariat on 2 July.
