Greenpeace spreads misleading data about business aviation
Brussels, 30 March 2023. Today, reports appeared in the media about a report commissioned by Greenpeace from CE Delft. The report claims that the number of private flights in the EU increased by 64 percent in 2022 and that the number of private flights from Dutch airports increased by 87 percent compared to the previous year.

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has taken note of the current political mainstream that is calling for the regulation of private jet flights more thoroughly at the EU level. Most upsetting, are the unfortunate routes taken that includes notions of banning, or increasing taxation which could simply deter the entire industry from operating and developing sustainable technologies.

European Business aviation backed amendment on “SAF Book and Claim” introduced by European Parliament
Brussels, 14 July 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes the decision by the European Parliament to introduce an amendment to RefuelEU, considering the possible introduction of a book and claim system for SAF across the Union. The amendment followed a dedicated campaign by aviation stakeholders together with EBAA to help avoid unnecessary logistics and bureaucracy, and increase the use by Business aviation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
