Brussels, 14 July 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes the decision by the European Parliament to introduce an amendment to RefuelEU, considering the possible introduction of a book and claim system for SAF across the Union. The amendment followed a dedicated campaign by aviation stakeholders together with EBAA to help avoid unnecessary logistics and bureaucracy, and increase the use by Business aviation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

The EU taxonomy is a classification system, establishing a list of environmentally sustainable economic activities.

18 October, 2022, (Brussels). EBAA and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) have today issued a joint letter addressed to the Czech Presidency of the European Council, drawing attention to potentially detrimental regulation to the European Business aviation industry ahead of the informal meeting of transport ministers to be held on 20 and 21 October 2022.

EBAA, through its membership with IBAC, has announced its new alliance with Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX) to provide a transparent and efficient platform for business aviation companies to voluntarily purchase carbon credits to offset their CO2 emissions as part of an overall sustainability plan
