The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) respects the decision by European authorities to temporarily restrict non-essential travel, but calls on the European Commission, the Member States and Switzerland to consider all recovery and relief measures available to ensure business continuity for operators, airports and others in the business aviation industry.

As part of the premier edition of the Malta Aviation Conference and Exhibition (MACE - 30 October - 1 November in Valletta), the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and Malta Business Aviation Association (MBAA) are putting corporate aviation centre stage, demonstrating the significant impact the industry has had in Malta’s rapid growth.

Brussels, Belgium. The European Business Aviation Association is calling on the European Commission to provide the necessary additional regulatory and financial tools to help national and regional authorities implement Performance Based Navigation Rules (PBN-IR).

The EBAA welcomes the new Performance Based Navigation Implementing Rule (PBN-IR). It opens the door to the large deployment of EGNOS-based procedures at secondary and tertiary airports. EGNOS enables precision approaches with vertical and lateral guidance – so-called LPV.

Meet Your MEP is an opportunity for members of the European Parliament to meet with leading Business Aviation (BizAv) operators in their region in order to discuss the contributions of, and issues particular to, Europe’s EUR87 billion and almost 400,000-person strong BizAv industry.

Since the first Business aviation aircraft took off in 1927, the sector has grown to be a substantial contributor to the European economy. This contribution has often been little understood and few organisations have been able to determine the exact economic value and business benefit that the sector truly makes.
