The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes and supports the Aviation Health Safety Protocol published by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), highlights air passengers should not be considered as a high-risk population.

19 May 2020, Brussels. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) along with Europe’s leading aviation associations call on the European Commission to develop an inclusive and cooperative approach to ensure the safe integration of drones in the European airspace.

Today, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), as well as national associations together urged European policy-makers and regulators to protect the continuity and survival of the Business aviation sector in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) is closely monitoring developments related to the Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak.

Safety and security are top priorities for the Business aviation sector, which has adopted ambitious voluntary measures to guarantee airport, aeroplane, crews and passenger safety.

Safety comes first for all aviation. EBAA promotes the use of best practices for all members, including approaches to reduce risk and implement initiatives to improve safety. EBAA communicates changes in safety rules and regulations to help members understand and respond.

12 November, (Cologne). The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) announced the winner of the first-ever Safety Recognition Award during its annual Safety Summit.

The EU is taking the steps which are needed to continue to ensure a high level of aviation safety in its airspace the event that the UK leaves the EU without a negotiated agreement. Today, the Council's Permanent Representatives Committee approved a mandate for the presidency to start talks with the European Parliament on a proposal to ensure continued validity of certain aviation safety certificates.

In December 2024, the EASA issued a proposal to the European Commission to revise its fee regime, effective from January 1, 2026, to address the Agency’s growing financial deficit. At the heart of this revision is the introduction of new charges for Third Country Operators (TCOs) flying into the EU.
