On 26 May, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) announced the COVID-19 guidelines for FTL temporary exemptions.

The past 4 months have been a whirlwind for the entire world, as states have introduced measures to control outbreaks and spreading of the COVID-19 virus.

Brussels, 30 June 2020. As Europe prepares to reopen on 1 July, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) today urged governments in the EU and the EFTA Member States, and the United Kingdom, to lift travel restrictions in a carefully coordinated manner.

EBAA, together with EASA and other aviation-related organisations, developed a set of Recommendations for General Aviation Operations during the COVID-19 recovery phase.

24 June 2020, Brussels. With the gradual restarting of passenger air transport in the coming weeks, leaders from over a dozen air transport associations representing Europe’s aviation sector today issued an urgent call for EU leaders to prioritise specific decarbonisation initiatives in their allocation of future COVID-19 recovery funding.
