The EUROCONTROL Voluntary ATM Incident Reporting (EVAIR) team is honoured to have this opportunity to address EBAA and its members. EVAIR has been in existence for almost 15 years now and as the first voluntary ATM incident data collection scheme, it is organised at a pan-European level.

Regulation (EU) 376/2014 on the reporting, analysis and follow up of occurrences in civil aviation will be well known to anyone involved in Business aviation. It’s been in force since 2015 and it is going through a consultation process for update based on the experience so far

In January 2021, a group of more than 40 organisations, led by the Flight Safety Foundation and EUROCONTROL, presented the first volume of the work undertaken over the past 2 years. The release of the document has only suffered a delay of 2 months, despite the pandemic, proving once again the aviation’s ecosystem commitment to the mantra “Build Back Better”.
