Using EUROCONTROL data, we have compiled the European Business aviation traffic figures for September 2021.

As aircraft are by nature borderless, the closure of borders by Governments has led to a disruption of aviation as it was then known and all the industries that depend on it (tourism, hotels, etc.).

In July, the European Commission issued its "Fit For 55 Package", a series of legislative proposals under the European Green Deal. The aim is to make all sectors of the EUs economy ready to meet the challenge of a climate-neutral continent by 2050.

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has recently announced its new alliance with Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX). This partnership will provide a transparent and efficient platform for Business aviation companies to voluntarily purchase carbon credits to offset their CO2 emissions as part of an overall sustainability plan.

EBAA has invited pre-selected operators to take part in a study that will help to shape the future FTL legislation applicable to long-haul operations in Business aviation.

Following a large number of questions regarding fines due to PNR issues in Poland EBAA has together with IATA, Airlines for Europe, the European Regional Airline Association and the support of the majority of regional Business aviation associations and the Air Charter Association sent a letter to the Polish government.
