The report claims that the number of private flights in the EU increased by 64 percent in 2022 and that the number of private flights from Dutch airports increased by 87 percent compared to the previous year.

Following the uncertainty of COVID-19 and its impact on aviation as a whole, our industry hit new heights in July 2021, recording our busiest month ever with around 85,000 flights. This trend has continued into 2022, as commercial aviation has struggled to come to terms with rebounding demand of travellers.
