Over the last few weeks the EBAA has received multiple questions on the EU-LISA programs EES and ETIAS.

Brussels, 7 September 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has taken note of the current political mainstream that is calling for the regulation of private jet flights more thoroughly at the EU level. Most upsetting, are the unfortunate routes taken that includes notions of banning, or increasing taxation which could simply deter the entire industry from operating and developing sustainable technologies.

Brussels, 14 July 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes the decision by the European Parliament to introduce an amendment to RefuelEU, considering the possible introduction of a book and claim system for SAF across the Union. The amendment followed a dedicated campaign by aviation stakeholders together with EBAA to help avoid unnecessary logistics and bureaucracy, and increase the use by Business aviation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

EBAA has received a lot of questions following the several sanctions imposed on Russia. We have collected many of these questions and provided some clear answers and guidance.

Geneva, 24 May 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) are today highlighting the official launch of the ambitious programme called S.T.A.R.S. – Standards & Training for Aviation Responsibility and Sustainability - at the 2022 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2022), taking place 23-25 May in Geneva, Switzerland.

The business aviation industry has always been dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the communities we operate in. There are many individual
environmental and social initiatives undertaken by our members across Europe. S.T.A.R.S. aims to consolidate, grow and promote those actions.

In response to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the EU proposed on 27 February 2022 a prohibition on all Russian-owned, Russian registered or Russian-controlled aircraft.

17 February 2022, Brussels/Toulouse. Today the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) announce their new partnership in promoting European Business aviation by way of a new, first-of-its-kind Business aviation programme.

01 February 2022, Brussels. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) today decided to cancel #AIROPS22 and announce the dates for #AIROPS23, planned for 14-15 February 2023.
